Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Since my father passed away in Dec 2009, 2 of my siblings (the executors) have not provided me with my request for a copy of the will, statement of expenses, bank statement, etc. I was told by my father that he had it all set up where the estate was to be divided equally 4 ways. Basically, I am in the dark about everything. What can I do to acquire what I feel I'm entitled to, i.e., account info, etc. My father died in TX & I live in FL. I have a copy of his death certificate which I obtained from the state of TX. It has been nearly 4 months since he passed & I feel that as a legal heir I have some rights to the information I requested. What can I do?

Respectfully,

Sharon

You can get copies of all of the documents in the probate file from the probate clerk where the will is being probated. If you want an audit, you will have to hire an attorney to request one under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
