Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Father past away 2 days ago

Brother & I are only children. Dad's caregiver has taken over his affairs. She was awarded everything in the will. We question whether the will is valid. She even made funeral arrangements. What rights do we have?

Although they are difficult cases to prove, they can be done. Specifically, you will need to show that the person had exclusive access to your dad, that your dad was capable of being manipulated, and that the caretaker exercised "undue influence" over your dad. These cases tend to be fact specific. Feel free to call or email me if you want to discuss this further.
