Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My father has recently passed away. We do not have the original copy of his will and he was the only one on his safety deposit box. This is where we believe the original copy is located. How can we probate the will to be able to get into the safety deposit box.

I'm sorry to hear about your father. To answer your question, you can make a motion in probate court to have the safe deposit box opened (for the purpose of determining whether or not there is a will inside.)
