Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Father's Widow Withholding Albums

My father executed a new Will approx. 1 month after he remarried\ which was about 1 year after my mother's death, leaving all of his belongings (and my mom's) to his new wife, with standard language to be disposed of as she sees fit, etc. The will was probated 1/26/06. My siblings and I have asked my father's widow that we be allowed to pick up the photo albums of our family prior to their marriage (over 70 years worth, they weren't married long-4 years). We are being denied same, she is quoting the Will... he left it to me. I know the property is now legally hers but I cannot understand why she would keep these items of great value to his kids. Any advise you could give is greatly appreciated.

Re: Father's Widow Withholding Albums

The law presumes that your father knew what he was doing when he made the will -- unless you can prove other wise. Sorry for this legal situation.
