Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My father's will

My father & mother were married for 17 yrs. they have 5 children but are divorced. my father has estranged himself from all 5 of us. we just received a copy of his will in the mail and he has left everything to my step-mom, unless she dies first then everything is split between all 5 children including 2 step children. He was court ordered to have medical insurance on my youngest brother and pay child support for the last 3 years and never did. Aren't we legally entitled to something if he dies not just his wife & is there some legal action we can take now to freeze the probating of his estate in the event of his death?

Re: My father's will

If the language of the judgment for child support allows the child support responsibility to be collected from the estate, there might be some possibility - otherwise, we are all free to dispose of our property as we see fit in our will.
