Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Filing a complaint to Texas Bar Assoc or ?
The executor is a CPA, he refuses to close estate, and is still holding a lein note that should of been returned to me, it was only suppose to be held as a guarantee that I paid my share of taxes and I did in 1996. note was valued in 1996 at 154,000. He hasnt return it and several other items to be distributed to me havent been. It is obvious he cant close will until he distributes all these items. All my assets are tied up in this estate. There are several items I have found turned over to Texas Comptrollers office they executor said could not be located, all these were willed to me.. Please I cant afford an attorney Ive already done 90% of research. Can I file a complaint to receive some help. Do I file it with Kendall County Courthouse, who has so far offered NO help. Could I file a complaint with Texas Bar Assoc. Should my attorney at the time representing me re: the will and probate, be responsible, He refuses to respond to my concerns..

Re: Filing a complaint to Texas Bar Assoc or ?
You can file a complaint against an attorney that was representing you and has failed to act in a diligent manner by contacting the Texas State Bar's Office of General Counsel at 1-800-932-1900.
You will need an attorney to force the executor to do his duty.
