Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My grandfather passed away and in his will he left everything to his two sons, who have both passed away. (My grandfather outlived the two sons) The only family left is 4 grandchildren and one daughter in law (widower of one of the deceased sons). How will the money legally be divided up?

The answer depends on what the will says. In many cases, the gift will go to the children of the deceased beneficiaries. In other cases, there will be an alternate beneficiary listed in the will who would receive the gift.
