Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My grandmother left her house to my Dad as a life estate. My uncle is is the final benefactor. If my father dies before my mother, would the life estate extend to her? My uncle has made it clear he intends to sell the house when my father dies, which would leave my mother with no where to go.

Your mother would not be able to live in the house (unless your uncle gives permission) after your father dies.
