Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My Grandmother passed and she had a bank account for me but I dont know the bank and the family will not tell me? And they did not file the Will with the countys office?

Not all bank accounts pass through probate. If your grandmother had a POD (payable on death account) naming you as the payee, no will or estate administration is necessary.

I'd suggest you get a copy of her death certificate, find out where she regularly banked and contact them. If that does not work contact banks near where she lived when she set this up.
