guardianship and estates
how do i find out if my deceased father has left a will? also how can his wife file for a guardianship over him and his estate and not include me his only child?

Contact the probate clerk in the county where your father lived, and see whether his estate has been entered in probate or not. If it has, see if it was with a will or not.
If no will has been filed, it may be impossible to find out if a will exists.
If no action in probate has been filed, you can do so. If there's no will, you are entitled to half of your father's estate.
