Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Hi all, I'm new here.
I need advice on what to do. My grandmother passed away 3 years ago and didn't leave a will. The estate is to be split up between myself and my two uncles. My oldest uncle was named executor. There is not much in the estate, but she did leave a house. The estate can not be cleared until the house is sold. It has been on the market for three years. My uncle has made no attempts to sell the house.
I really just want to be done with all of the drama.. I don't believe my uncle is doing everything in his power to resolve the situation. Are there any steps I can take towards relinquishing him of his executor position? Should I get a lawyer?
Thank you in advance for any information you can give me!

Get a lawyer. What you're saying isn't adding up. If there is no will, then there is no executor. It would be unlikely that your uncle applied for an administration if there was only a house. If you are a partial owner of the house, you can file an action for partition, and force the sale of the house.
