my ex husband died leaving me as beneficiary on life insurance-new wife contesting -says i gave up all rights in divorce.-but he did not change policy. Do i get benefit or will it go to his estate?-texas

It depends on two things, (1) whether or not the policy is an ERISA based policy and (2) the language of the divorce decree.
