Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

my husband died he did not have a will our house deed has both our names on it. we have no children together.he has two sisters.i remarried my husband was a vet.nam vet.he died i could use his being a vet.so as not to have to pay taxes on my house but the deed still has my previous husbands name on it. they said i would have to get his sisters to sign his part over to me.that will cost me around 2500.00 that i dont have. im still paying on this house. he died about 4 years after we bought the house. i have paid for this house mostly by myself.if we had known that we would need a will we would have had one. im not sure that his sisters will sign anyway since they both do drugs.and i really dont have that kind of money.also i have 2 boys 42&38. is there any other wayto take care of this?

From what you said, the sisters should not have an interest in the house and would have no reason to sign or be involved. You may probably be able to handle this with affidavits of heirship from 2 disinterested parties. Go to your local title company and they should be able to help you with all of the paperwork you need.
