Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My husband died last year in June and his father died in January of this year. The father had a will naming his son and sister as beneficiaries. My husband had 2 grown children. Should they (or me) have received any benefits from the will

Most wills have a provision to address what happens, should a beneficiary die before the testator (the person who wrote the will.) In most cases, if a person dies first, then that gift lapses, and that share would go to his children. THIS IS WILL SPECIFIC HOWEVER.

Your children should review the will to see if this is the case.
