Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My husband passed away, and left his children as the sole beneficiaries on his life insurance through his work. I live in Texas, and I know this is a community property state. He paid the premiums of the life insurance through his bi-weekly paycheck. Am I entitled at all to any of this benefit?
He did leave a will, but in his will he didn't mention anything about this life insurance policy. Aside from a small personal account, he indicated the remainder of estate should be given to me.
