Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My husband of 27 years died. He did not have a will but he had named me the exectutor of his estate. Does everything go the me, the spouse and then I decide who gets what or do they just come in and take what they want without going through me?

I'm confused. How did he name you the executor if he didn't have a will? And who are "they"? Did he have children outside the marriage? Does he owe any debts?
