Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Independent Executer Fails to Resolve Estate Matters in Timely Manner

My mother died in 2003 leaving homestead and rental income properties and other assets. Six living siblings are the legal heirs, JM the youngest is the Independent Executor. He provided an initial accounting to the courts and now has not given any information to me or two of my brothers. He does not respond to phone calls or communications. I was the caregiver for my mother in her home. He had me evicted to expedite the ''showing and sale'' of her homestead property in 2003. Still remains vacant and not sold or listed for sale. All tenants had to move from income producing properties upon the end of their lease agreements. He has spent 4 yrs. piddling around on superfluous ''maintenance & repairs'' in order to pay himself from the estate funds and has not commenced an estate sale for the contents of my mother's homestead. He is under a Harris county court order to list and sell this home after I was required to leave. Nothing has been done in this regard. What must be done to have him be accountable and proceed with the sale and equal distribution of inheritance monies amoung all siblings and prevent him from paying himself as executor and a contractor of maintenance when he has no contractor's licence or any job at all. Procedures??

Hire a lawyer to sue for an accounting and to remove JM as Independent Executor.
