Inheritance
My father died in 1989, everything went to my stepmother. When she died in 1997 I was never notified of her death. Does her children have the right to keep everything or do should they have divided it between us? There maybe alot of money and or assets involved.

Since everything went to your stepmother, then everything went to her children unless she had a will saying otherwise. Did she formally adopt you? Did she refer to you as one of her children to the general public? If neither, then you are legally a stranger to her estate.
