insurance policy collection with no will
i was legal guardian for my grandfather. His wife died and his only child-my mother-before he did. i have documents proving heirship. How do i get the ins co to release his life ins policy in order to pay funeral expenses incurred???

The question is who is the named beneficiary to the insurance policy? If your grandfather's estate, then you'd have to enter an estate in probate. If someone else, they'd have to claim against the policy. If you were named, then simply a copy of your grandfather's death certificate should be sufficient.
