Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Irrovacable will

I have a large estate of mainly land that was left me by my Mom. If I make a will & husband makes a will, & for instance he dies first, would I be able to change the will? He is worried I might cut him out entirely, & I need a contract or something to be legally binding so he won't worry. It would apply to his will as well. Is there such a thing?

Re: Irrovacable will

As lone as you are alive, you can always change your own Will, and it is your right to do what you want with what you own whether anyone else likes it or not. You really need to find a good Wills and Estates attorney in your area and sit down with him or her and do some estate planning.
