Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Lawyer fees and my business
I owe a lawyer money for representing me in an estate dispute. We are paying them payments, but are afraid they will attempt to take our business by filling a lean. If I create an LLC now, can they still file a lean or not. We plan on paying them off, but it is going to take a really long time and they aren't very patient. They also advised us not to create an LLC right now and they would help with it once we got the fees paid down.

Re: Lawyer fees and my business
This is really not the kind of question for this format. You are asking for specific legal advice. Like any other business, lawyers deserve to be paid for the work they have performed. Do you "plan" on paying for the groceries you take home from the store or "plan" on paying for your haircut at some future date?
