Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

We want to leave our family members different amounts of money in our will. We do not wish for them to know how much now. The executor is one of the family members. How do we construct the will without the executor knowing all the amounts before we pass?

Choose a random method of allocation that can't be known until the the date of death. For example, make the allocation of funds depend upon the date of death. So if you die on an odd numbered day one allocation prevails, another if you die on an even numbered day.

You need to understand, at least in Texas, that your family can choose not probate your will and go by the traditional system of allocation.

The other alternative is simply not to give the Executor the will but only instructions where the original is so he/she can retrieve it when you pass.
