Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Hi, I have been left by my parents a condo and it's indebtment in their will. I would like to know how that will be transfered to my name once the will is probated. Will I have to refinance or will the current note be transfered to my name? Thanks

You are allowed to continue to pay the note and there is no reason to put it in your name. In fact, it is a bad idea because it increases your personal liability. The executor of the estate can execute a deed that puts the property in your name. An attorney can prepare the deed for you at a nominal cost.
