Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
I live in Texas. My father died and then my step-mother, I have been waiting almost two years and since I am the only surviving child, I thought I was to get my father's part. I have yet to hear anything, am I incorrect in my thinking? The lawyer and the executor said the lawyer did not have an obligation to speak to me.

You need to get your own lawyer, and file something in the probate court. Don't wait for somebody else's lawyer to do something.
