Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

I am a married man with one step daughter. I want to transfer some stock that is in my name only to a revocable trust. Should I set up the trust as a married couple with children, married with no children, or individual spouse since the stock is in my name only?

You need to consult with an attorney. Even though the stock is in your name only, it might be community property. Also, how you set up the trust will depend on what you want to accomplish. Your attorney can properly evaluate this and advise you of your options. frequently, clients come to my office wanting a trust or something else specific and leave doing something else entirely.
