Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Can one member of a 4-member estate make construction additions to the home without the approval of the other 3? One sister lives in parents house, per Dad's estate instruction and she and her new husband said they are going to make additions to the home. Is this legal?

The contractor should be the one asking these questions - asking if the people occupying the home have the legal right to authorize changes to the home.

Do you object to the additions? Will they enhance the value of the home? Who's paying for the additions? Does Dad's will (instructions) say anything about additions to the home?

It's legal, but she may be in jeopardy of losing 3/4 of the value of the improvements to the owners when the property is sold.
