missing will
Mother-in-law died and left a will. One heir has the only copy and refuses to probate or release it to other heir. what can other heirs do?

You can petition the probate court to have the person who has custody of the original will to produce it to the court.

They can file suit in probate court, or the court that handles probate matters if there are no probate courts in the county where your mother-in-law lived, to compel production of the will. That action will force the issue and get the estate into probate.
