moms mutual fund
Moms will states all assests to be divided equally. Also states the will not to be probated.Theshareholder service is requiring a certified copy of the court appointment of legal representativeof the decedents estate. Must bear original cert. of your County Clerk and must be certifiedwithin 6 months. My brother and sister are named as co-executors in my Mothers will .
does my brotherneed to send a copy of the will that was drawn up by a lawyer ?she picked her own executors and does not need a court appointed executor. Also the will stated it is not to be probated as there was no assests or property to distributed other than this.

If the mutual funds were only in your mom's name, then the will should be probated.
