Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My Mom's Will
My 88 year old Mom had a will issued in Virginia. She had an atttorney there but wants to know since she lives here in Texas now, is the will still valid? If not, why not? Is her Living will still valid? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: My Mom's Will
Both the will and living will should continue to be valid. However, there may be additional requirements not in your present documents at time of prove-up if all Texas requirements aren't there. It is good to re-visit legal documents every few years with counsel to make sure all needs continue to be met.
