Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Mother in law passed away

My mother in law passed away - she lived with my husband and I for past 6 years - his siblings want everything from her room - we shared home in my name over 6 years. I have POA for medical - what rights do they have to take whatever they feel is belongs to their mother from my home?

Ouch! I hate when this happens. How you react depends on whether you want peace or a family feud. I would ask siblings for a written list of requested items and respond in writing as to whether Mom had given you those items or whether they were available to pass on.
