Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My mother is in a nursing home. I have power of attorney over th estate. Her finanaces have run out. Is there anything I can do to prevent selling her property?

Suggest you consult with an attorney that specializes in elder law to get the best result for you mom.

Here are some options that may be available.

1. Medicare.

2. Social Security Disability

3. Medicaid.

If I remember correctly some of these options may result in a lien on your mom's property.
