Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My mother willed me 10 acres in 2003 when she died. I have kepted up with the property taxes. My brother and sisters never contested the will. Now in 2009 one of my sisters wants it put in her name. I need to know how safe I am if I were to decide to build my home or sell this land. Thank You from Texas

Was the will probated? If not was an andminstration filed for your mother's estate/

If you probated the will, and had a lawyer..you would be safe.but if you did not probate the will you probably lost the right to have your mother's intentions kept..and the land will go by state law..hir e a lawyer now.
