Does the newest will supercede the older will in Texas?

Generally, a will contains a provision to the effect that "this will supercedes all prior wills and testamentary instruments signed by me at any time." If the newer will doesn't have this, there could be a question as to whether the new will is in fact a new will or a codicil to the old one.
