Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Notice
Texas Law requires that I provide notice to persons named in a will. Two persons named in my mothers will were adopted children that she had not seen in over 20 years. One she left $100 and another, who is deceased since the will was drawn, she left $1000. What evidence do I have to give the court that I have tried to find these people (or their heirs at law)and cannot? I have searched the internet using several people finders and have no results.

Re: Notice
The answer, without being a smart alec, is whatever the court requires. I suggest you engage a private investigation firm that specializes in finding missing heirs, unless tracking down people is part of the way you make your living. If that's the case, you may convince the court that they can't be found with due diligence.
