Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
I have been notified I am beneficiary to a friends 401k and pension benefits. He died
Oct 22 and his family has notified me. How do I find out if I am since I have no legal
papers only papers for his pension in my possession? Do I need legal representation?
Will someone notify me?

You shouldn't need representation. Someone should notify you, but make it easy for them - contact the company and tell them what you know.
