Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
my parents both were killed in a car accident. My mother married before had 3 kids, my dad was also married before with 4 children. After being married 30 years they now how 4 together that both my mom and dad raised all 11 of us together. They had purchased 110 acres after their marriage. I think and so do my brothers that are my mom and dads together should get more land than the other 7. It was not bothe their parents that bought the land. We live in Tx

Although Texas intestacy laws would normally apply, the children can agree (if ALL agree) to split the land and other property any way they choose. Also, because there was an auto accident, the proceeds from the auto accident would need to be addressed as well. Feel free to call me to discuss this ordeal in detail.
