Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My parents are part time residents of Arizona, but their permanent residence is Texas. They need to have drawn up a new revocable living trust. My mom is currently undergoing extensive chemotherapy treatment in Arizona, so she will not be able to travel to Texas for several months.

Can my parents have a new revocable living trust drawn up according to Texas laws while they remain in Arizona?

I have called a few law offices in Arizona and answer seems to be, "No. They must physically be in Texas when they sign the document". Is this really true? Travel to Texas would be an extreme hardship for them.

Thanks,

BJ

I think you went to a lawyer who doesn't understand "Texas." You should call a lawyer who handles trusts in the county of your parents' legal residence and get help there.
