Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
My part of a will
I have a Will that was given to my Mother from her brother.
She has since passed away. The will has stated that my Mom's
heirs were to get all the monies and savings accounts.
My Uncle passed away 3 weeks ago and I need to know what steps need to be taken to find out if my will is the last one in effect. One of the step sons was the executor of his will,He had made several comments that there was no money left during the time my Uncle was sick and then passed away.
I do not know if the step son knows I have this will of my Uncles. My uncle had retirement funds and rental property funds coming in. If my will is the current one can you have the step son prove up what he has done with the funds?

Re: My part of a will
You can enter the will into probate and formally ask if there are any subsequent wills. You may be looking at fairly expensive litigation.
It would probably be wise to discuss the situation with the step-sons first, and see what they may have. If there's a subsequent will, then yours has been revoked and no longer in force.
