Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

''Parties of a Warranty Deed''

My grandmother passed some years ago and my Aunt is now trying to sell the house. My father died when I was 9 yrs. old and other than myself my Aunt is the only living heir to my grandmother. After my father passed a dear friend of my grandmother paid the house off and because my father passed, she deeded the property over to my aunt. I was a minor at the time this was done but my mother was not allowed to sign on my behalf because I was a minor and my fathers heir. The property is in Houston but the deed was done in Denton, Tx., because at the time my grandmother's friend had moved there. My aunt does not want to give me the half that I feel I am do from the sell of the house. Should I have been a part of the Warranty Deed, what rights do I have? Please advise.

Re: ''Parties of a Warranty Deed''

I am assuming that your grandmother was your father's mother. I don't know who the "she" is in "she deeded..". If that was your grandmother, then she could deed her property to whomever she wanted to, and you have no claim.
