Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

me and another person inherited a home and after several years now the estate hasn't been settled. me and the other party don't speak and the other party has since moved people into this house that we inherited and i'm not sure if the people who are living there are paying rent. how can i get my share out of this inherited property if we can't even speak to one another? the person that we inherited this property from did have a will and it did indicate that this property would be split 50/50 between me and my sibling. What to do to force my sibling to either sell property or to buy my half from me?

You can force a sale with a lawsuit to partition the property. It will cost a few thousand dollars, but you can ask the court to reimburse out of the other party's proceeds due to his or her lack of cooperation.
