Power of attorney after death

How do I go about executing a power of attorney to take care of my mothers estate after she past away? It only involves selling her car, but I need to put the title in my name or the new buyers name.

You cannot use a power of attorney document to sign the name of a deceased person. In order to clear title to the car, you would either need to determine what estate liabilities the deceased still has, and then based on that, execute appropriate paperwork. If the deceased has no liabilities, only assets, then you might be able to do an heirship affidavit or small estate (depending).
