Power of Attorney

If you are disgnated as Power of Attorney for an elderly relative are you liable for their debts upon their death?

Power of attorney is an important and fiduciary responsibility. Nothing to be taken lightly. They end upon the happening of one of either two events: first, the person revokes the power or two, the person died. They do not survive death.
