Probate

Client dies w/2 beneficiaries on bank acct, one benef. is deceased, does his half inheritance go to his spouse or his children. Spouse is not remarried.

This depends on the type of account and the state of the beneficiary's estate planning. Does he/she have a Will? Is it community or separate property? It also depends on the terms of the account. It may say that the remaining beneficiary will get the entire account. Can you provide more details? Or just contact an attorney and give them a better picture of what's going on.
