Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Probate vs family law
I asked a question about a friend who needs a pro bono attorney to get her trust that is being held by a family member.
There are three wills involved to include her Father, an aunt , and a uncle.
She is mentally ill and dying. I am her assitant and have personally viewed one will and know she is entitled to this monies.
The lawyer here stated this is not family law when we have been told by the University of Texas law school POC and two other lawyers we need a family law lawyer.
We need to know of any pro bono lawyers that will assist in getting her inheritance monies for a part of it for payment.
I find it ironic the lawyer that answered has a firm advertised with
Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody and Adoption, Probate, Trusts, Wills & Estates
SO it seems that these areas are grouped together and could some other attorney give us a point of contact rather than a answer that leads us nowhere.
Thanks BJ
