My mother died six years ago and I have not probated her will. She left a hand written notarized will and left land to her grand daughters. she has a son and only left him money. do you know how much it might cost to probate this and if this is acceptable? thank you

A will totally handwritten in the hand of the testator can be probated. It might cost $2,000-$4500 maybe a little more to probate the will. Find a lawyer while you can still do this. Otherwise the fees go up.
