Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Probate - Muniment of Title

My mother recently passed away. She only has about $10,000 of assets and I am an only child and the will left everything to me. The estate has no outstanding creditors. I understand that admitting the will to probate as a muniment of title is the best way. Can I do this myself and how do I get the application to make such a filing? I live in Tarrant County in Texas.

Thank you for your help.

Speak with a probate lawyer. You may be able to get by with a Small Estate Administration.
