probate question

have notarized will of mother who left property to granddaughters and little money to son (daughter is in charge of will) has grandsons it has been five years & not probabted can her son & grandson protest her leaving land to granddaughters - as they never took care of her only her granddaughthers and daughter did - will will still be in effect even though it has been give years and not probabed

The will may still be able to be probated or depending on the property, it might not be necessary. The person who was named executor and never probated the will may be liable for claims against the estate. If you want to pursue this, you need to talk to a lawyer.

The will is still valid, although it can only be probated to transfer title to the property. It can't be challenged just because you believe it's unfair.
