Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Probate of will
How can we get our deceased daughter's will probated WITHOUT an atty? She lived/died in Austin, Tx., had no property & no indebtedness. Her father is executor of her will, but the bank holding her small amt of funds will not allow access without the will being probated. We would hope to NOT have to drive to Austin. Please help. Thank you !!

There is really no need to probate. The bank should accept an affidavit of heirship and they can probably furnish the form.
