Do you have to have a will probated? Is there anyway of getting out of doing a probate?

If all the deceased's property has been transferred, there is no need to probate a will. But, if somebody wants the deceased's property, some sort of probate procedure will be required; not necessarily probating a will, but other procdures may be more effective and economical. See a probate lawyer in your area and don't be hesistant about getting a 2nd or 3rd opinion.
