Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
probate will
how much time does a person have to contest a 'will'? A letter comes from a sister's lawyer saying she is going to contest him getting the house that he has lived in and maintained for the last 4 years since their mother's death-nothing has been said by her about the house until recently..is there a time-frame for her to contest this?

Re: probate will
It is unclear if this a WA or TX case. If this is a WA case, I think an important question is: What is a "will?" Was there a probate of the estate? Was the house allocated in the "Will?"
